30 days Return/Refund Policy, for Certified Pre-Owned Scanners

If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you may return items complete, unused and in their original packing within 30 days of purchasing them for an exchange or refund. Please note that sleeves are not eligible for return.

The product must be unused, clean, and undamaged, and returns must include the original packaging and materials.

You must contact Align Technology Inc as listed below, to get a return authorization number assigned to your case. We will provide you with specific instructions for returning the product. Please await your return authorization number and instructions by mail.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, excluding the original shipping and processing fee, within a certain amount of days.

Return Instructions

Please send us an email to 30dayra@aligntech.com to obtain a return authorization number.

The following information is required:

  • The original shop order number
  • The date the product was received
  • The number of parts to be returned
  • The reason for the return/exchange
  • The contact person's name, e-mail, telephone number


Here are general instructions for returning items. The customer service representative will provide any additional instructions, if warranted.

  • Pack the item in its original packaging, unopened.
  • Improperly packaged return items may not be eligible for return policy claims.
  • Indicate the return authorization number on the exterior of the package.
  • Enclose all pertinent documents, including original user guides and other documents.
  • Ship the package as instructed by our representative. 


This policy is only applied to CPO scanner models (SKUs) 212073 and 212074.
