The sleeves are supplied non-sterile and are designed for use without the need for sterilization. The sleeves are manufactured in a controlled clean environment and comply with ISO 10993 Biocompatibility international standard.
5. Can the sleeves be reused if cleaned, disinfected, or sterilized?
The sleeves are for single use only. Do not reuse them. To avoid cross-contamination, it is essential to replace the iTero Element sleeve after each patient.
6. Do the sleeves have an expiration date?
Yes. It is indicated on the label of the package. Shelf life: 40 months from the manufacturing date.
7. Are the sleeves autoclavable?
The sleeves are not autoclavable.
8. Are the sleeves compatible with iTero™ NIRI technology (Near Infra-Red Imaging)?
No, the sleeves are not compatible with iTero™ NIRI technology (Near Infra-Red Imaging).
9. How many sleeves are included per box?
Sleeve boxes contain 25 units, and full-barrier sleeve boxes contain 20 units.
